A report was issued from the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 4:23 a.m. for dense fog until 8 a.m. for Morris, Hunterdon, Somerset, Middlesex, Monmouth, Mercer, Camden, Burlington, Ocean and Atlantic counties.

"Patchy fog this morning is reducing visibilities to less than one half (1/2) mile at times. Be prepared for rapid changes in visibility over short distances! Turn on your low-beam headlights and leave extra space between you and the vehicle in front of you. Fog is expected to dissipate by mid-morning," says the weather service.
